Why Buy from Us?
What You Should Know
There is no regulatory oversight in the CBD industry. Not the FDA, not the DEA, and not the Department of Agriculture. There are over 3,000 companies selling CBD products today in a totally unregulated market. This means there are many unscrupulous companies, without any scientific basis, making harmful claims.

Rx Sports Inc. ensures third-party testing of all products
Our partnered farmers and processors provide third-party test results of their organically-grown CBD extract. However, Rx Sports requires additional pharmaceutical-grade, third-party tests for contaminants (such as heavy metals and pesticides) prior to manufacturing. Once tested again and cleared for use, we combine CBD with various plant compounds, including our specially formulated terpene profiles. These precisely crafted and concentrated terpene profiles are created in-house, by our Chief Science Officer, a board-certified toxicologist and pharmacologist with over a decade of experience in cannabis research.
Lastly, before finished product leaves our facility, we test a second time to ensure the cannabinoid content is as advertised. So, if we tell you our sublingual drops include 100mg/mL, we want to make sure that’s what’s in there.
Formulated by our Chief Science Officer, a board-certified toxicologist and pharmacologist
Formulating CBD products isn’t as simple as adding CBD to a bottle or tin container. We believe cannabinoids (like CBD) and terpenes to be medicine. As such, there is a significant amount of medicinal science to be understood and applied in product development. It is for this reason our staff includes two (2) M.D.’s, and six (6) Ph.D scientists, to include our Chief Science Officer – formulator of all products, with over a decade of experience in cannabis research.
Concentration affects absorption
Simply put, if you are not using a concentrated product, then you will likely miss out on the benefits of CBD. We aren’t referencing the number of mgs on the bottle, but instead the amount of mgs/mL. Because if a product is not concentrated, your body will likely metabolize it before you receive its therapeutic benefits.
This is easier to understand when compared to alcohol. If you were to pour a shot of gin into a 24oz glass of tonic vs. a 4oz glass of tonic – which one will cause intoxication? They both have the same amount of gin, but at different concentrations. Depending on your metabolism, you will likely not feel the affects of the alcohol in 24oz of tonic because your body will metabolize the alcohol before it reaches the bloodstream. The same is true with CBD – if you aren’t using a concentrated product, you will miss out on its benefits!
Rx Sports Inc. products include nothing but cannabinoids, terpenes, and plant compounds
Many speak on the anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, and analgesic properties of CBD, but few companies address the benefits and importance of terpenes. The minuscule glands (trichomes) that produce cannabinoids, also produce terpenes, which are what gives hemp its distinct aroma. Terpenes attract pollinators, repel herbivores, and at the right concentrations, have powerful therapeutic benefits (see chart). Additionally, terpenes increase the benefits of cannabinaoids (like CBD), which is why we include concentrated terpene profiles in each of our products, all which are specially formulated by our Chief Science Officer.
Understanding and maximizing the effects of all the chemicals found in the hemp plant, and plant compounds we use is critical to successful product development.
Rx Sportss Inc. uses only CO2 extracted hemp oil
There are several means of extracting CBD, each of which have their own pros and cons. Solvents (such as butane and hexane) are potentially hazardous by leaving residues, and affecting the user’s immune system. Ethanol and olive oil are inexpensive, but ethanol can destroy the plant’s waxes, and olive oil is perishable. CO2 extractions are the most complicated, and the most expensive. It uses carbon dioxide under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to isolate and preserve the CBD oil. If done correctly, the end product is clean, safe, and free of plant matter.
Rx Sports uses only organically-grown, hemp-derived CBD, sourced in the USA
Hemp is a bio-accumulator, meaning it naturally pulls toxins from the soil. That’s not necessarily problematic if the hemp is used for textiles, but anything ingested or applied topically, it’s imperative that the hemp is grown organically. Our oil is sourced from organic farmers, based in the USA. All of our hemp-derived CBD oil is third-party tested to ensure it is clean of any contamination, and to determine its chemical composition (percentage of cannbinoids and terpenes).
